Long Ke Wan Campsite & Beach – Hong Kong’s best beach?

A couple of days ago I posted already some pictures about my trip to the Long Ke Wan Campsite & Beach. Today I like to present my video to you. 48 minutes in the air with the DJI Mavic Air 2, and this is the result.

How to reach Long Ke Wan Beach & Campsite?

By Taxi from Pak Tam Chung or Sai Kung town
Take a taxi from Sai Kung town centre or Pak Tam Chung to the geo-trail at the East Dam, High Island Reservoir. After you reach the High Island East Dam, follow the Maclehose trail for around 1.5 km.

The High Island Reservoir, on the hike between East Dam and Long Ke Wan Campsite.

By Bus from Sai Kung town or Diamond Hill MTR Station
Take bus no. 94 departing from Sai Kung town centre or bus no. 96R departing from Diamond Hill MTR station (weekends and public holidays only) and get off just after Pak Tam Chung. From there you can choose to take a taxi or to walk on the Maclehose Trail Stage 1. Hike along Tai Mong Tsai Road to the junction ahead. Turn right on Sai Kung Man Yee Road and walk about 9 km to the High Island East Dam. After you reach the High Island East Dam, you may reach the beach after an around 1.5 km long hike.
